I work at a mine, so when we shut down for the winter I need to do my own work to keep from going crazy. I do it all myself because I can find flaws that pros leave, and nothing makes me more mad than when something isn't done right the first time. As for the one cylinder to every year, I'm way ahead of the curve... 68 cylinders, 28 years. 21 don't run, but are in parts vehicles or in the process of being rebuilt. Then we have the deck horror stories. We bought our home a year ago, but part of getting the home loan was to get the septic pumped and inspected. The pump truck turned to tight to the deck and took out the entire corner. Had to replace all that after moving two feet of snow. Thank goodness I had the tractor!
