Sounds just like what happens to me all the time. Maybe we are a little dry in stating our answers. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I think people get mad at me for continuing a train of thought that is headed off topic.

Take for instance your post RobS, I feel compelled to add my wife and I had a heart to heart years ago about that very thing. Don't hint at me. I won't get it, never will get it, and if by the slimmest chance on earth I do actually get it and REALIZE that I actually got a hint, I'll refuse to act on it just because she didn't come right out and say it.

Hows that for continuing an off subject thought. heheheheh

Ain't that the truth. I think I've heard it as 'painfully frank'.. or precise... You know.. why beat around the bush? ( That's for marketing types! ), suits, or politicians....

Posting here sometimes is kinda the feeling I get at work when I say to customers "I am from the insurance compnay and I am here to help you". If looks could kill, I be dead! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Nope, no way, never happened to me. My posts are so insightful, so witty, so erudite, that everyone is moved to respond immediately...w.a.i.t a minute...I get it! This is a conspiracy! Now that you've all trapped me into responding, absolutely nobody is going to add anything! It's going to look like I'm the Dreaded Thread Killer!

I suppose I should add, the paranoid Dreaded Thread Killer...

/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gifo you ever get the feeling that when you make a post, that the thread will suddenly die?" -Junkman

Yes I do. And being the latest victim on my thread "Hello Money , goodbye farm exemption" I see how it happens.

I agree with the moderator - MikePA. The rules are clear no politics.

When I started the thread I had the feeling that the thread might be too political. But... I did it anyways because it really affects the way I have and will manage my land and use my tractor. The intent of this post was not to bash politicians only to make the members aware all over America what is happening in Texas. Century old exemptions that you might be banking on during your retirement years may suddenly come to an end and unexpected expenses might be inevitable in order to keep your land if you have any exemptions.

So be prepared, anything can happen.

Oh.. by the way Daedong PM me and the Aussie word I was trying to get a definition of was suppose to be whinge which in Aussie is pronounced whingah or bloody whingah, which in Texan language means whine or whiner. That is definitely what I will be if they take away the agg. exemption. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hey Don,

I wonder if you need to change your signature line after that farm exemption thread. "Dying broke means living well." may no longer be true /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Junkman
Sure do get that feeling, and some of the others have touched on why it may be so. But, how about each one who is feeling the same way, going back and checking their last 50 posts, to count (get a percentage) the number of times it was the last post (hopefully this isn't another one /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif )

Edit
Just checked the last 50 posts and was quite surprised that just 4 of the 50 were 'terminal' posts. So can't take much credit for being the 'terminator' here. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Just checked on Junkman's posts, and he has been the terminator on 5 out of 50. Some recent ones may not hold up over time. Interesting. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
