Finally found a picture of mine!

This was originally a car canopy after 2 covers wore out and an old swimming pool cover gave way I decided to just buy the sheet metal and 1X4 slats and make it permanent. The frame is over 20 years old and the metal cover about 6 years. It has withstood high winds and 18" snow loads.

I had 2 fall by mine a few weeks ago in a storm. Fortunately the larger on missed the shed and the other fell at the exact angle of the roof so landed flat and only did minor damage.

I was near that collapsed pole barn today sawing up a 60' Sycamore that blew down last winter.
Buzzards have moved in and taken over what's left of that old pole barn. That's gonna be fun getting them to move out to a different location.
I got the partial estimate for rebuilding yesterday, I gave the contractor the OK, now just gotta wait for dry weather so he can get in to cut up the old downed trees before the rebuilding can begin.
I'm not going to attempt to cut on those downed trees, they are also across a creek 5' below. That's above my skill-set @ 82.

My tractor is generally in the garage but I want to start keeping space open through the summer. I don't like letting it sit to much in the rain. I think I am going to build a lean-to like hawkins has there off the front of my wood shed. Just a place to park it under when I am not needing to keep it warm to start. Never hurts to have more dry space anyway.

Nice looking building. I never seen transom windows over a big door like that before.

I don't put my truck in either but my wife's car has never been in the garage. The tractor takes up that space. lol
