Scored 40, which surprised me as being somewhat high. Where I live, the closer to zero the better off my family is. It's easy to imagine that people outside of the region would refer to this as having an eastern elitist mentality, which is fine.
I grew up middle class and was taught to work hard, much like everyone else I know. This is no longer an acceptable differentiator. In much the same way, college degrees do not instantly make the recipient smarter than those without.
Factory employment and knowing the difference between two Johnsons doesn't make you any whiter than the next guy, nor does it make you any more middle class. It could make you expendable considering the current landscape of capitalism.
