Do you need a push mower if you have a zero turn

and of course, I have a Stihl string trimmer.

I have a $30 garage sale string trimmer that my wife found 9 years ago and it has been flawless. I don't even know what brand it is but it is definitely low end. I use it hard. I trim only ever 3rd or 4th time that I mow and the trimming takes about an hour (I have hundreds of trees, fences, and a long bank). I run my old gas through it, the stuff I wont put in the chain saws. I generally abuse it and haven't done a thing to maintain it and it always starts and runs flawlessly. Guess I'm just lucky!

We got a Scag zero turn for the 5 acres of grass with lots of trees at our church property in Whippany, NJ. Never used a push mower after that. Cut the grass in about 1/2 the time needed for the old Sears underbellies and push mower.

I still use push mower and string trimmer on areas too small or steep for zero turn
