I blame global warming on the vegetarians.

Back in the late 80's I had people telling me that Global Warming was partly because of farm raised animals which produced gas. Thus we should not eat meat.
I asked them if that is true then how come we did not have Global Warming when there were vast herds of Buffalo and Caribu in North America? Herds so huge that they took days to pass a single spot. Not to mention the biomass in Africa. They could not answer that question.
What I find funny is that methane is supposed to be a larger producer of warming compared to CO2. Course water vapor beats both methane and CO2 in Global Warming so I guess its only a matter of time before we are taxed on our shower usage.
By the way the NASA scientist who tracks Global Warming was just found to have made a mistake in his data. If you corrected his data there was not warming for the year. But the correction was corrected by new found hot air else where in the world so we did have a hotter year. A similar mistake was made a few years ago by a researcher. Not sure if it was the same guy or not.

In the local paper yesterday, they had an article about how last year was 0.18 degrees C hotter than average, thus proving global warming.
Of course, they don't mention that the year before last was 1.6 degrees C cooler than average.
If I look at the hottest day on record (140 years of data) in my area, it was in 1905. The hottest month on record was in 1916, and the coldest was 1976.
