Front-End Loader Do you store your implements & FEL Outside??

Hi ....
I am just wondering what most folks do...
I grew up on a farm and most everything was left sitting around outside or else in an open bay with a tin roof.
I have been leaving my FEL, Roller, Weight box and backblade outside most of the year round (the FEL and mower are stored inside with the tractor in the winter).
Also, Are there any ill effects with leaving my FEL outside all spring summer and fall?

My father has left his 'bota outside for over 20 yrs and his paint is well faded, but I don't see any other issues. Any comments?

I don't leave the FEL or PTO powered implements outdoors. I do leave an old back blade setting in the woods at the edge of my property.

As far as the FEL, I've got to consider theft. As you know, these can be pretty expensive. The other reason is, if left in the sun, heat build up expands the hydraulic fluid which can make it difficult to connects the QD's.

All my attachments are outside. I really wish they weren't though.
My FEL stays on the tractor which is inside. I do take it off when I mow the fields though, then back on. Pretty easy to take on and off but, so handy to have it on, mostly.

Amen! Until I can build a storage area for them they're outside but under a silver tarp to minimize elements exposure and reflect back some of the sun's heat. The tractor itself is in a large tent that I like to call a garage.

Tractors/FEL and BH get a seat inside with the welder trailer. Plows, brush hog, cultivators, sickle mower, etc. stay outside. BobG in VA

'96 ranger & '03 monte carlo outside...... 1533, fel, BH, Mower & Boxblade inside.

This will only last the summer though... then a new barn needs to be grown.

Everything used fit inside at one point..
Blades, cutter, buckets, dump trailers are stored outside
under canvas tarps. The UV is the killer for outside storage.

Everything else is inside (except for an excavator which won't fit)

Afternoon Rixtory,
Everything indoors except the counterweight and sometimes the backblade ! Although I do use my neighbors barn to store the Massey in but only until I can grow a barn of my own !
