I'm looking for advice on a conversion dilemma. I found a set of lower link arms and stabilizers for sale locally that are for a much larger tractor then mine. I have Cat I 3ph and these arms are for a Cat II.
What I hope to gain is the telescoping lower links and the rigid stabilizers instead of my turnbuckles. The whole set would cost me $200 plus my time to convert it as opposed to about $180 for the rigid stabilizers alone from a web site.
My tractor is a Kubota B7800 and the ones I may try to install are from a 45-60HP machine.
I might have to shorten the lift arm and figure out how the stabilizers would attach to my tractor. Plus I would have to buy bushings for the attachment pins. Is there any other problem I'm not thinking of???
Please share your thoughts. I'm very tempted to purchase this stuff.
