Do you wear a hat?

I wear hats most of the time while we're out. Since my hair is pretty thin now, a hat keeps my head warm in the winter and cooler in the summer. I also wear a fedora style hat quite a bit...just like the style.

Although I bought this one (attached pic) a couple years ago...it never got cold enough in PA to wear it often. Now in Vermont...different story. This hat has been worn almost every day since we've been here.

BTW, I rarely ever wear the "bull" hat...



Most other times, it's a Deere ball cap.

My dad is 83 years old and has had multiple skin cancers removed from his nose and ears...
He always wore a ball cap...
His dermatologist told him that all ball caps should be outlawed...
I am 53 and so far so good...
Being bald mandates a hat...

I usually wear a cotton jungle hat in the summer when working in the sun. I think it helps to block the sun ...but I usually put on some sun screen as well. It also helps to sop up the sweat and to keep the salt out of my eyes.

Been wearing a ball cap for years but this year will be a different style after having Melanoma on my ear.

i wear a hat when outside. I prefer a safari or fishing type hat with a brim all around.. or one that has the sides that will button up.. but a ballcap will do.

I do it mostly for eye protection from the sun ( plus prescription sun glasses ).. but also for eartop protection from the sun / skin cancer.. which is why i prefer the one with a brim all around vs a ballcap..

Do rags. Have loads of 'em. Even wear e'm under my hats
