Do you wear your seat belt on your tractor?

I am like most of the others. I wear my seatbelt most of the time, unless I am just going a short distance on relatively flat ground. If the ROPS is down, I do not wear the belt. If the ROPS is up, and I am on any kind of hill, or will be, the belt is on.

Just my $0.02 worth.

Always.... Same as if I were in my car.

Nope, tractor does not have one. I have located an anti roll bar/cage though and when I get it put on there I will have a seat belt and wear it.

90% of the time unless I'm just puttering as someone said.

Always, even when traveling a short distance or engaged in a task that requires frequent dismounts. It just feels wrong to not have the belt on whenever I am driving the tractor. Same with driving a car even in my driveway to move to another parking place. It just doesn't feel right unless I am belted in. With the car in the driveway I manage to live with the funny feeling, not so with the tractor.

My oldest son was driving my JD 2210 on level ground under some trees when a fork in a branch just caught the ROP and the front of the tractor started coming up on him.

All the time except if I'm just moving in or out of the garage. If I 'm going off the concrete pad, the seat belt's on.

I always wear my seatbelt. It just helps give me a 'secure' feeling. Heck, we even have one on our ExMark. Really helps keep you planted in the seat so you can concentrate on driving instead of trying to keep yourself in position behind the controls.

( I've never worn the seatbelt ... not many (in fact ZERO) other tractors driving around on my property that may crash into me. ) You don't have to have another tractor run into you to get injured or killed. Tractors can, will and do turn over faster than than you can say to yourself "Oh oh, I should have worn my seat belt!" Level ground or not!

Always. Even when puttering, when traveling short distances, essentially anytime I am in the seat. It has become habit and I want to keep it that way.
