Hello again all -- just wanted to follow up.
Took delivery on the 2320 package this past Wednesday -- got about 5 hours of seat time Wednesday and Thursday

.
So far, I'm very pleased -- and confident that I got the right size tractor. It's amazing how many of my trees are about 56 inches apart ...
With the RC1048, I cut an area of brush (amid trees) in three hours that would have taken me about two work days with a walk behind field and brush cutter -- and my shoulder doesn't hurt from wrestling the cutter around trees and on uneven ground!
With the FEL ... and the tooth bar ... popped out and hauled some half buried railroad ties that I just could not have managed another way. I cannot imagine NOT having a tooth bar ...
With the BB2048, smoothed out a few small areas with small rocks and dirt clods but need to work on my technique ... could not "dig in" to wet heavy soil very well (blade only, no scarifiers). Might need to hang some weights on the box blade. I'll see how the blade does when things dry out a bit first, though.
Got an amazing amount of work done in just 5 hours total -- being very careful because this equipment is new to me and the ground was a bit wet -- and about 3 gallons of diesel.
Back home on Friday, hopped on the JD X300R to vacuum up the leaves on the lawn, and my first thought was ... this (garden tractor) is small!
One happy JD owner here. Thanks again to everybody on the forum who gave me the knowledge to make a good purchase!
