I don’t have an answer for you either but will try and steer you in the right direction.
Obtain some photos of what you are wanting. Straight on views are better than isometric.
This view shows you a lot but is harder to scale.

Where if you printed these photos.
Knowing things like the distance between the QD latch holes, over all width, using the drafting scale, you can reproduce all of the dimensions. Not unlike the scale on a map.
The only thing better is to take pictures and measurements of an actual unit, in person.
If you don’t know any of the dimension on/of the object look to their specifications of said object.

Now, I know that one 53 1/2” wide, uses two 2” diameter, 6” stroke cylinders, with 1/4” teeth and even how far apart they are. Using that information and the scales, I can plot the rest.
I guess I would start by printing out photos of the design you want, and gathering as much information on it as you can while the scales are on the way.
You can also save some time and probably money if you just buy the attachment plate and go from there.
