Has anyone figured out a way to put a drink holder on a Yanny? It is awfully hot in the summer time here. I tried an insulated drink holder hanging from the dash but, there is so much heat coming under the dash it does not stay cold very long. I hate to drill holes in the steel. With the salt air it seems that no matter how well you think you clean, prepare and paint the area around the hole it will be the first thing to rust.

Yep.........it's called a StukCup. Mounts right to the hood in fornt of the steering wheel with a magnet ;). Instantly removable. I had 2.......one got knocked off by a tree branch and fell down under the tire before I realized it....
The ones I bought for my brothers had a little less strength magnet in them than mine did. I contacted them and the said they had had a few complaints about that and would start using the better magnets. That was 2 years ago. Hopefully they changed.

That looks like it should work. I am afraid that the vibration from the diesel might foam up carbonated beverages but, it would be good for water. I think I will order one.

Thanks,

I have a couple of Stuckups as Inspector mentioned. They are good for water but if I have a cold can I hate to transfer it to another container. I found (here on TBN) a magnetically mounted can holder a while back. It's fabric (flexible) and mounts to any near-vertical steel surface. I mount mine on the fender beside my leg. I got it several years ago but haven't seen it advertised in quite some time.

I made this cup holder from some old white oak I had laying around. Just used a 3-1/2" hole saw, layered and glued them up. Several coats of spray varnish and tied it to the ROP's.

Just moving along will foam up a carbonated beverage unless you have absolutelty smooth property. I usually only have water when I operate, but occasionally an adult pop might be in my hands. I'd not mount a beverage holder to the tractor if it was carbonated.

I've made a couple using Folger's coffee plastic containers. It is just the right diameter for a can hugger to slide in. I cut the bottom off about an inch or two up. Use the top part to hold the beverage and put a good magnet in there. I use computer hard drive magnets. They are very strong.
