I own a 5234D with a 60" MMM and bar tires. I bought it last fall, 09/04. I had an opportunity to test a 2210 and a x595 an hour or two prior to testing the Cub and a Kubota 2230 the day before. I saved at least 2k over the 2210 and 1k over the Kubota. All are great machines, it was a tough decision. I did not like the treddle design and the seating position on the Kubota compared to the Cub. The Cub seemed to run smoother than the 2210 and I did not like the position of the FEL control valve on the 2210. For me, 6'5", the Cub was very comfortable. I also found an excellent dealer where his main line of equipment is Cub Cadet.
I use a 6' rear blade for snow removal, a 5' rear blade for moving dirt and rock. I also use a 4' box scraper, 24" dirt scoop and a carry all. 8, 42lb suitcase weights are installed on the front, I have no problems with traction in the snow.
I paid just under 10k for the tractor w/ 60" MMM. I have a few picures posted in the photo section with the 6' blade hooked up.
