( OK, on this topic, I have the opportunity to get a 275 gallon fuel tank for free. Currently I use about 30-35 gallons of diesel (both truck and tractors) monthly. so, a tank like this will yield anywhere between 7 to 9 months of fuel for me. Is this OK, should I keep fuel around this long?
From what I've read here, seems like OK... Would you do it? Thanks. -art )

If you go with the tank you can get cheeper fuel delivered however if you get caught running it in your truck the fines are very steep.
IF you go with 55 gal drums you will have to purchase the more expensive fuel and they will not deliver it to you so you have the added expense of going and getting it yourself.
Does anyone else around you use diesel fuel? If so they could get their fuel from you. That way the fuel would not set around as long and it would keep it fresher.
