Does having Kubota Orange implements matter....

I recently bought a King-Cutter carry-all for my BX1500. It was painted what I consider an ugly brownish-yellow color with some scrapes and rust spots on it. I bought a can of Allis-Chalmers orange spray paint to make it match the Kubota and used some left over deck stain on the planking. To me it was worth the little cost of the paint and the small amount of labor to make it match my tractor and cover that ugly color.

CCI, I'll bet you asked this question just to cheer me up!

Seriously, most people will answer that it makes no difference, but for some unknown reason, if there are four colors of the same implement sitting on the lot, they always pick the one that is the same color as their tractor. Go figure!

As an offshoot to this question, how many of you have the forum colors set to match your tractor color?

Orange, red, or yellow we have repainted many implements to match the color of the tractors.

I recently made a trailer to go behind the Kubota. While the wife was away visiting her folks in Florida this Christmas I brought the trailer into the cellar and gave it several coats of Bright Orange II so it would match the tractor.

I felt as long as I was going to paint the thing it might as well match the tractor. BTW it took the wife 3 weeks of walking by the trailer to notice it was now orange instead of metal oxide brown. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Forum color to match my tractor? I don't see an option to set the color to PLAID. I need blue, orange, green (both Oliver & JD), yellow (Cub & J.D.). Help.......

I know what you mean Randy, I always have my new toys, I mean implements delivered when she's at work. Then hide them behind the barn for a couple of months. She always finds things for the house that cost exactly or more than the implement I just purchased...funny how that works.
