Oil & Fuel Does HST oil warm up if I am not moveing?

Unfortunately, this Web Sites search utility program is ga-broken. Actually has been for some time. Try typing in "FEL", or "Cab" or "HST Oil".....they all have one thing in common....they only go back to the magical date of late September of 2006. A very sad state of affairs indeed !~! ??

I know my dash sticker on my 7610s says to allow unit to run at les than 1/2 rpm for 5 minutes before going to full load to allow hyd and engine components to warm up. I realize the eng warms way faster thant he hyds.. however.. with the pump pumping.. it's an ineficient system at best.. heat will be produced... not sure that 5 minutes would give 'lightning fast response in cold weather... but I'm huseesing syntthetic UTF might help that...

Not true at all. The search function is working correctly. Try searching for "3-way" in "all open forums". You will get posts dating back to September 2000.

Frank, I just use my tractor gently while it warms up. I never let it warm up for 15 minutes. Maybe 5 minutes while I erect the rops, check for leaks, etc. Then, run everything gently before doing any serious work. One thing I do very often is head down the road about 1/2 mile to pickup manure. Gentle 1300 RPM drive in 5 or 6th gear, cold breeze in my face

. The engine oil is warmed up, the gear oil has presumably warmed and I can then start working with the FEL.

In very cold weather, I also partially block my radiator and tran cooler with some card board. I of course watch my temp gauge. Once the ambient air temp is above freezing, I remove the card board.
