Does this DIY weed killer work?

Anyone find industrial vinegar or in bulk? I got places I want to change PH, like around barn.

Has anybody tried the Dawn, Epson Salt, vinegar DIY weed killer? Thought about trying it but why waste my time if someone already proved it doesn't work?

I've used Roundup with outstanding success. You have to be aware of overspray and wind drifting but otherwise it does the job. I have a small patch of Bindweed( AKA - Morning Glory) that the neighbor suggested I use vinegar. So far, for the last 4-5 years, it hasn't spread and its kind of pretty. If it does do any spreading - I will use Round Up. My theory is - if it isn't bothering you, leave it alone. If you need/want to get rid of it, use something that is guaranteed to work.

I have some English Ivy that I want to kill, will spray as soon as the wind stops blowing. I was told that Brush killer and Dawn liquid would work, anybody tried it yet? The brush killer I have is supposed to kill Poison Ivy that I understand also has an oily coating and is hard to kill.

I have animals and creeping strangler vine. I cant use Round Up, so I will try this stuff and see if it will get the jungle under control.

My pig goes crazy for the taste of Round Up and drinks as much as he can get if I'm spraying an entire road, or just along the fence line. My dogs, goats, horses, chickens and ducks all seem to ignore it. Basically, Round Up is a type of salt that is harmless to people and animals. I'm not going to drink it like my pig does, but I don't know of any proven concerns there is to using it.

Yes.... I use that mix quite often.
I use Gordon's Brush killer (from TSC), and add a few drops of Dawn for each gallon of mix.
The Dawn does nothing for the killing, but is a sticking agent, to make the killer chemical agent adhere to the leaves better.
It works well on poison ivy!
The nastiest mix, is the brush killer with diesel, instead of water.
It will absolutely kill ANYTHING & EVERYTHING!
Just remember: I did NOT suggest THAT mix!

I the Dawn doesn't work, I got diesel, but I don't remember where I heard that it works.
