I recently bought the tractor from a friend. I recall when he was driving it up onto the trailer to bring it to my house that he forgot to raise the deck and it caught. He backed up and raised it and went on fine. At the time (week ago) I thought nothing of it but perhaps that bent the wheel. The other side looks fine.

Friend said he doesn't recall ever hitting anything as he only used the MMM a few times - he is a straight shooter. He called the dealership and the deck is under warranty though I doubt it is covered. Regardless, he offered to stop over and help me figure it out even though I told him I would take care of it.

I think I will try the pipe wrench first. Xfaxman, do you leave the deck on the tractor when you bend it?

Yes, just slide it under, tighten snug. Add a cheater pipe if needed.

Pad the jaws of the wrench with a thick rag or something to prevent scratching. Put your foot on the top of the deck to stabilize and have something to pull against.

Oh, and don't throw your back out tugging on that wrench. Get a cheater bar if you need to.
