yup.... i knew it was a scam. i went thru so many of those when i was looking to buy the horse trailer and sell my old tractor. It sent me away from ebay for these purchases and sales. I ended up getting a great deal on new trailer thru licensed dealer out of state...incl free delivery.
I was only able to sell my tractor after i insisted on cash only and thay the buyer HAS to meet me to look over tractor. that got rid of all the scammers.
These hijacked ebay accounts steal the respond to link email address by changing it to their own anonymous account after seizing the account.
I used to email the seller asking to see the unit, and was always told there in either a ebay secure storage facility (which do not exist) or back east (when they find out im out west). i then email them that my BIL lives about 50 miles from you, can he come look at it. That usually ends the emails.
