Well, you don't really say, but there is engine oil and hydraulic oil. Analysis
of the latter oil would be much more interesting and cost effective for
your tractor, esp if you have an HST. That stuff is often more than $10
per gallon and you need 7-10 gallons for many CUTs. At a typical
change interval of 400h, I know it is not done often, but extending
that interval could be justified, depending on the analysis.
This has been discussed on TBN before, but I have yet to see the results
of a hyd oil analysis posted.
I buy it in 5-gallon buckets. It's $102 + 4% tax up here for JD 20C.
