Believe it or not, that's the only time she's climbed up there without me in it (ooww, oof, hey watch where you step! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif). Although that might have something to do with the fact that she's not allowed inside the house except under close supervision (generally translates into a couple of hours on Saturday and Sunday). In that pic she was a little under 4 months old and about 35 pounds. Now she's 50+ (won't get weighed again until I take her to get spayed, which is Real Soon Now). I figure she's always going to believe she's a lapdog until that unfortunate day when she journeys to the rainbow bridge. I still find it hard to believe that she could fit in the palm of my hand on the day I picked her out - just 6 days old, and somehow I could just tell that she was for me.
Fortunately she has started calming down somewhat in the last two weeks or so. Of course, someone not familiar with the breed might not think so, but I can tell.
Heck, she hasn't drawn blood for almost a month - my arms and hands are almost completely healed again! As a side note, doctors (and most normal folks for that matter) give you funny looks when they see your hands and ask "what type of accident did you have" and I reply "Oh, that's just from playing with my dog"....
Jerry (wounded but healing, and not regretting a minute of it)
