Dave,
It looks like your dealer just plugged the loader hoses into the remotes. We did this on our first tractor and had trouble using the 3 point and loader at the same time. You have a quick connect under the right floor board that can be used for loader attachment. You may want to take the hoses to a hyd shop and have them shortened. If you do this, you will free up the rear remotes and can use the loader or 3 point without having to change the valve position.
Hi Chip,
PMFJI, but could you elaborate? I have a DF304G2 with the Townsunny FEL for a year now, and having to switch constantly from FEL to TPH is indeed quite inconvenient...
FWIW, my FEL was connected to one pair of the rear remotes by DF people, so I guess that's the standard way.
So, if I read you correctly, the idea is to connect directly this quick connect under the right floor board to the pump entry of the loader command box, and keep the rear remote QC to the tank as it is, which would free up one of the remote QCs?
(Side note 1: maybe you'll remember I was in touch with you a year and a half ago, way back when I was trying to get a G2 shipped to New Caledonia. This was finally arranged with the French importer and I am extremely happy with the 304G2, putting aside the usual issues -- oil leaks, wiring... --)
(Side note 2: for those who wonder, yes, the Townsunny FEL seems more sturdy and reliable than that other Chinese brand. I have put it to very hard use in packed clay, and it did resist. My only complain with it is that with the 4-in-1, the bucket vertical motion is too short. This and some persistent leaks here and there!)
Thanks,
Patrick
