I think with my new tractor I have made almost all the Dumb Bass mistakes so far... driving a spell with park brake on, kicking gear out of LOW with knee into neutral on a hill-(going up hill) which req'd change of shorts and the all time weekend dumbest--attempting parking Kioti CK30HST in its 40' storage container with ROPS up. Clang! and front wheels came up...
Liken that to going in your 8' garage with bikes on top of your minivan /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Did ya ever wanna trade off your new toy for another brand new one just cause you think ya wasted on it too much in it's first 11 hours??? /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I think most of us have hit something with the ROPS, especially if we had a tractor without one at first. I caught the garage door with mine, fortunately it just pushed it up out of the way and didn't damage it. You'll remember it next time tho, won't you? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I have not made a mistake driving my tractor today! It is at the farm in Illinois and I am at home in Cedar Falls. OOPS! not seat time, that is a mistake in itself. We all make the mistakes, just keep a good sense of humor, it makes life easier.

That is really the designers feature to test the ROPS for structural stability. If the ROPS broke off, then there are defective welds. If not, it is considered safe... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Been there.

I wanted to replace the trim around the garage doors any way.

Hey have you reshaped any door trim with the side of the bucket or the toothbar yet??? That's next!!! Been there too.

It gets better.

Don't replace it yet. I've hit the trim at least four times. So far none this year, but I've gotten very close.

I have a bad habit of not releasing the parking brakes. I should connect a beeper across the brake light when I get some time. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
