A longer rope/chain/strap would have allowed him to move the tractor farther away and do things with a gentle controlled pull...from the rear!

I think a pull from the rear without tires being filled would result in wheels spinning.

I guess with a little more finesse, one could have kept the momentum rolling and ended up back on the tires without needing a tug.:laughing:

Okay, nothing like Ted bounce-testing a skid loader, but I did "fire test" a wicked root grapple this week.

Yikes! Surprised the hoses held up, they would not have with a heavy grapple.
