I found suitable blanks at HD and filed my own spare keys. It was not difficult at all.

How much $?

Kubota sold me a pair for $5, & they are exactly the same key as my originals ... which is nice to be able to just look for one key shape when lookin' around the house for "the tractor key".

My dealer also added their day-glo orange keyholder to the key sets.

Maybe this time some people will not misplace them.

Anytime I buy a tractor, I get extra keys and STILL have to go back to get more. No one has a clue what happens to them.

Someone I know lost their keys for a while. Searched and searched. Then had new keys made.

All the while the original keys were in their purse, which they carried every day. And "checked".......

Bypass open!!! I don't have to drive by Barlows about every day now!! I'll still stop in to get my oil, fluids and filters................and that's all. I now have the right three but my brother wants to use my overseeder and I told him I have to take the BH off of the BX25 and install arms and it was going to be a couple of hours job just to get it ready for the overseeder and the tiller in the spring...................

My Dealer looks like he's on his last leg. Big For sale sign in front. Tried to charge me $60 additional shipping on a 20 pound part coming from 35 miles away. Said "stuff it" and charge went bye -bye. Maybe its a self curing problem.
