As to theives, as far as I am concerened, it took part of my life to pay for that item. Taking at least part of theirs seems fair.

Quite a few years ago during the Crack and Cocaine epidemic in South Florida a house was broken into in the not so nice part of the town where I lived. The theif went looking for something that he could quickly sell to get some cash.

Under a bed he found a small tool box. He stole it.

The question is/was did he look inside the box?

Inside the box was the cremated remains of a relative of the owner of the house. Obviously not greatly loved since the remains where under a bed in a ratty old tool box. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

The other question was did he think the ashes where coke and did he try to snort the stuff.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

No one knows but the thief.

I feel your pain, check the local pawn shops for a few weeks.

It's the personal violation feeling that I don't like. Did your neighbors see anything?

My wife and I live 11 miles from the nearest dot on the map (that's all it is). Twice we have come home home and found our "inside" dog locked in an upstairs bedroom. The first time we were like "you dumbs*&t dog..." The second time was right after Christmas... now bear in mind.. the dog destroys doors and carpet when trapped... but my wife noticed things moved. Chairs, china cabints open.. **** they even ate lunch... there was food left out on the counter. They rifled through her underwear drawer. What creeped us out was that Mary & Joseph in out nativity scene were turned face down. But not a dang thing was missing. Nothing. We started locking out house again after that for a month or so. We are guessing the first time the dog got locked in that room someone was there too. This got way longer than I planned.. anyway.. it's creepy and unnerveing none the less. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
