Been slacking on updates……
Work on the place has been kinda slow

Some rough plumbing done
Some rough electrical done
Electrical Service installed and hooked up

Moved the bridge back after the 10” rain we got pushed it down the creek 20’ish

Trying to balance regular life….
Family weekends at the “farm”

Kinda slows things down!

I choose to have 4 skylight fiberglass panels installed in the roof of my shop. I highly recommend them as I rarely turn on interior lights, even on very cloudy days. I was told they should last 10-12 years (UV) but replacing them is simple.
Just wanted to give a quick update since I also went with skylight fiberglass panels after reading posts like this. The natural light has been a game changer in my workshop, and I’ve noticed the same—hardly ever need to flip on the lights, even on gloomy days. One thing I’ve learned though is to keep an eye on the seals and flashing over time. Mine developed a small leak around year 6, but I had it repaired pretty easily. Overall, still very happy with the choice.
