There's nothing wrong with all the pictures of snow, but I just want to add a couple of photos my wonderful girlfriend shot for me this afternoon. They are doing some serious dirtwork for a new Super Wally-world and I just mentioned to her yesterday that I wanted to get some pictures of the tractors pulling the dirt pans. Today, while she was in town, she circled by the site and took pictures for me. She's a keeper! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Think I will upgrade my BX1500 a little to one of these bad boys. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

"Think I will upgrade my BX".....great idea, according to your profile you have a whole acre to care for and one of these will really save you a lot of time. GO FOR IT !! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

A huge tractor, TWO sets of quads, and STILL a set of front wheel weights - that is some SERIOUS dirt moving!

Oh yeah, an S.O. who takes tractor pics for you - definitely a keeper.

Mark

PS What do you think - do those front wheel weights weigh nearly as much as OUR tractors? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Nice looking Farm tractors. Probably run about 1/4 million north of the 49 th.

I think you are right, Mark. I'd almost bet they weigh more. I wish I could get a picture of a compact sitting next to one just for the fun of it. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

On several jobsites in this area, I've seen these tractors pulling dirtpans instead of using an earthmover. I'm sure there's a reason (maybe how hard the ground is) but a rookie like me doesn't have a clue why one is chosen over the other.

Did you notice the nice shade of pink on the dumpster? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Jinman,

Just reread your post, you say Super Wally world....does that refer to a Wal-Mart? Never heard the expression before, well maybe one time back around 1984.

I was looking at a Deere Brochure a couple of months ago and the wheel weights were 1000 pounds each.
One pair pretty much equals my 4310 CUT.
