Down to 3 CUT\'s. Thanks for those who gave me

some guidance, but would like an objective opinion on the 3 I'm down to. Are any of these real good deals. Any overpriced? I understand the NH is a little more tractor than the other 2, however.

My first is the NH TC35DA, $21,900 with FEL and HST. The second tractor is Kioti CK30. This is $16,320 incl HST and FEL, also. The last is a Kub L3400 with all the same. I think I have ruled out the Kub, though. The dealer didn't give me a warm/fuzzy feeling. He talked around numbers, but I think he quoted $13,500 for the tractor with HST, but this doesn't to appear to have included the FEL.

Any thoughts? I am using this tractor to prepare and maintain hunting food plots and do minor upkeep of interior roads. I will probably be upkeeping about 8-10 acres of the 84 acres of land in fields.

Do you need HST? If not you can move up to a 35 or even 40 hp Kioti in the larger DK series tractors. If you need HST than the largest HST for Kioti is the CK30. Then it all comes down to the dealer. Both are fine tractors.

I don't know the TC35DA but the Kioti CK30 HST is a wonderful machine. $16,320 is pretty close for Western PA but high for other parts of the country. Pricing is very regional so it is hard to tell if it's a good deal unless you post your location. If you have specific questions about the CK30 just post them in the Kioti forum and the pack will answer /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

Good luck!

Hey Brian,

If you can get by with shuttle shift vs. HST, you can get a lot more for your money with the Kama brand.

Good Luck,
Kevin

I am trying to chose among the three you mention plus a JD5205. It seems you have decided on HST for sure. For operating, I like the NH ergonomics, size, and visibility the best. Though it may not be so, the posts on this board read as though these tractors may visit the shop more often than some others. The Kioti seems quite nice but is still a newer model. The Kubota feels light without adding weight but otherwise seems very nice as well. I threw the 5205 in the mix because it is physically about the same size as the others but is a monster for a few thousand extra, if I am willing to shift gears for myself. Pricing I have gotten is just like yours. Differences of a few thousand dollars between all these models pales in comparison to the worst part of this process... the fear of buyers remorse! Best wishes and let us know what you decide!

Yes, I have pretty much decided for the money, HST is worth the xtra dollars. I am now just trying to decide if the above prices are a fair deal.

I have a Case DX35 with LX116FEL which is essentially the same tractor in red. I bought it used from a friend with 60 hours last month. I got a quote on a new one of $21,050 before I bought the used one. The tractor now has 70 hours and hasn't had a problem yet.

I just took delivery of a Farm Pro 8240 with Koyker 310 loader. Delivered to New Hampshire $26,000. It's a bigger tractor than what your looking for. But the 2 hours I spent mowing on saturday sure was nice in the air conditioned cab. The 80Hp turbo Perkins Diesel pours out the power. All that weight (8000+#'s) is sure going to help in the winter. I maintain about 1/3 mile of road in hilly terrain. With a 96" rear blade and the 84" bucket on the Koyker loader (along with the heated cab) it's a snap.

I'm a NH guy myself.. But i sure would check out that kioti.. If it will do what i needed to do.. that 4-5K$ difference is a substantial amount. I might have to drive an orangy home!

Good luck on the decision.

Drive all 3 get specs including lift / loader for all 3.. look at warranty issues, hp, and what hp you actually need.. etc.
