Re: Down to 3 CUT\'s. Thanks for those who gave me

Are the NHTC35DA and KiotiCK30 comparable apples to apples? Aren't there a lot of differences? Will each one be able to to the jobs that you need them to do?

Not knocking or promoting either one. They just seem to be very different machines.

Re: Down to 3 CUT\'s. Thanks for those who gave me

Yeah, it's not really apples to apples, as I mentioned in my initial post. The NH is a much heavier machine. The NH dealer said he is trying to unload that particular unit and if it was an "incredible steal" I would be willing to pay the extra money if it will have residual effects down the road and the price was, in fact, a steal. The CK 30, though, will get the job done that I'm looking to do.

Moss,

I was thinking the same, I don't believe they are apples to apples? Maybe someone else knows better.

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for the explanation. Have you priced any of the NH models that are more equal to the Kioti in size, strength, ability, etc... a few years back when I was shopping for a tractor, I was really impressed with the NHTC29D. Very comfortable tractor to sit on and operate. Everything seemed to be in just the right place. Good reputation, too. Haven't been on any of the Kioti's up close, yet. Lots of folks seem to be very happy with those, too. Good luck in your search. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: Down to 3 CUT\'s. Thanks for those who gave me

From what I recall when I was looking, the TC35 is a little higher rated (between 10% and 15%) in almost every statistical category except the loader, which If I remember correctly, had quite a bit more capacity (about 50%). I certainly liked the TC35, but I know for me, it was more than I needed and I couldn't justify the price difference. Based on the way I look at it, he would be getting about 15%-20% more tractor for 25% more money, but through in the loader, which if you are doing a lot of loader work, you are getting more than 25% more capabilities, which I guess would make it worth it if you could afford it.

It looks like the TC35 weighs 357lbs more than the CK30. It's a bigger tractor size wise too. I was looking at the 29 and 33's too, nice tractors, just couldn't get the price I needed to make the move.

Have been reading this site for a while and decided to join. brianz; I am looking at a Kubota Myself and are wondering what Kubota dealer did not give You a good feeling. Just a city or general area will suffice. My current tractor is a NH 1925 HST 4WD from the first year of production in Dublin GA. It is the equivilent of the current TC33 and has been flawless. Would not hesitate to shop NH again except I'm looking at smaller cab tractors (Kubota 3430 Grand L)

Re: Down to 3 CUT\'s. Thanks for those who gave me

The dealer is in the Athens, GA area. I've read a lot on this site about how important your dealer is, and this guy seemed to want to brush me off. Maybe because I was there waiting in line for the only salesman and by the time he got to me, they were w/i 20 minutes of closing may have been some of that reason, though.
