Re: Down to 3 CUT\'s. Thanks for those who gave me
( what you are finding was true with my search. My NH quotes were rediculous....................3-5,000 over other comperable machines. The explaination of, "well, they are just better.." is not an answer at all to explain the exorbitant price difference )
This is not true through out the country. In my case both Kubota and John Deere were out of the ball park. No bash against Kubota but the Kubota dealer was arrogant and thought no one knew how to make a compact other than Kubota. Kubota is a good tractor and I would not be afraid to buy one, the dealer just turned me off. New Holland beat the others by 2k. And since my purchase he has been the one of the best companies I ever dealt with. Even other TBN members have ordered parts from them and had them shipped to them.
Drew, since your bio says you have a Kioti I will tell you why I didn't even look at a Kioti and even if they were 5k less than the New Holland I would not have bought one.
First the Kioti doesn't have a dealer within 180 miles of my place .
Second the Kioti was about 500 pounds heavier than the New Holland which would be good for loader work but terrible for mowing.
Third, I liked the ergonomics on the New Holland over any other tractor.
So for me paying more for the New Holland and having all of it's features would have been worth more to me.
Just my opinion, everybody has a reason for what they like.
