Downsizing

A good friend of mine was looking for a tractor for his property.
He came by and saw my B2320, sat on it and liked it immediately.
He decided to go to the Kubota dealer and try to get one like it. Unfortunately those have been discontinued a few years ago and a salesman sold him a B2601...with a loader, box blade and a mower claiming that is what he needed and talked him into it.
He's nearing 80 and has decided that the machine is too much for him. Gettin on and off, attaching the equipment is an ordeal and he's had buyers remorse for a couple of years.
Now he has it for sale on Facebook Marketplace and blah blah blah.
He does want another machine, but closer to the BX size but not necessarily a Kubota.
So I am wondering what machines you member may have that would fit that size requirement.
He mostly mows with a bush hog, and uses the loader...but neither are daily use, just convenience for the small one owner farm he has.
I like the Kioti, the Mahindra and even the Deere machines, but size wise I wouldn't know what to recommend.
Any suggestions would be most helpful.

If you're looking for something around the same size as the BX Series, take a look at the TYM T224, KIOTI CS2220, or MAHINDRA 1120. To be real, performance-wise, there’s not much difference. Just check which dealers are nearby and what they’ve got. From what I’ve seen, TYM’s usually the cheapest option out there.

Instead of buying a smaller tractor would a 3ph quickhitch and setup the attatchments be a better and cheaper option for him?

How much does he want for the B2601?
What are his needs?
The BX series is not designed for "rough" terrain, like wooded areas, it doesn't have the clearance.
