I have 36 acres to clear/level/fill, a pond or two to dig, etc. I am planning on buying a dozer and dump trk. I am trying to figure out weather to get a track loader and build a blade to change out with the bucket when needed or just get a regular dozer and use the f.e. loader on my tractor when needed. What do ya'll think would be a better overall farm setup?

How big is your loader tractor?
Right now all I have is a 30 horse, but will get something around 65-75 horse, but it could be a while if I'm going to get a dozer/trk. I think I have pretty much decided on a track loader. It would probably be pretty stupid to get a regular dozer in my situation. I know I want something pretty good size too, but hopefully small enough to pull with a good dump trk, just in case I want to make a little money with it.

A "4 in 1" front end bucket can perform loading, scraping, dozing and clearing. I had an excavation company cut a building pad for my new shop. The work was done by a Cat 953 with a 4 in 1 bucket on it. Attached is a picture of the bucket opened. This may answer your needs. There are some implement companies that make these for retrofit to various tractors. I've lost the url though.

A 953 would be a good size... about 2 yd if I remember...
The 943 through 973 are hydrostatic drive and one of the best, most demand a pretty good price.
A 955K or 955L Cat would be good as well although they are just powershift.
John Deere would be decent too. 755-855 would be Hydrostatic as well.
Case 1155s seem to be popular as well... I dunno what trans. they use...
