Draft control I'm lost

I don't under stand draft control I have a ford 3000 and theses r the controls what controls what

when the little lever is pusted down it makes it where you cant control the lift when down and when discing or box blading and you hit something it lifts up

the screw in knop is the speed control all the farther out the faster is goes up
