Draft Control

   / Draft Control #11
I posted a "new" question about draft control before doing a search -- sorry -- a simple search actually pulled up a thread that was titled with my interest and contained information that related to the topic and title .. how lucky

anyway, I took a bunch of pictures of thingy's and dingus that I didn't know what they were

I have attatched a picture of my 1430's draft control dingus

do I just turn the black knob on the right by hand until my mower is sufficiently raised?

Thanks

That is how I do it. Set it at high idle. I think you pull up on the nob to turn it... Also as I remember there was something about having ot have the brakes off (on my tractor).....

Brakes on please! We want to keep you on TBN.
You don't need power to the wheels, just enough above idle to get a decent response.

There is a lock ring on my draft control. Following Mike's instructions worked for me.

All the best,

Peter
