Dragon voice recognition software

This is my new Dragon voice recognition software. It took a long period to install because when connected to the Internet it completely changed out the version 12 I received two the newer version 12.5. It went through a lengthy training session, where I read John F. Kennedy痴 inaugural address so that it could learn my speech. It also went into my existing documents and email and search down different vocabulary to retain. Good thing I don稚 swear when I write. Ha ha.

I am dictating this into Microsoft Word and I am not making any corrections at all. I am certainly speaking abnormally slowly and clearly but it does seem to work. Now the question is can I draw a picture of a tractor? Probably not

I guess the best way of doing this is to dictate into Microsoft Word and then cut and paste into whatever other document I wish, like TV and. Correction TV and. Well, that did not work it printed out correction instead of going into the correction menu. Likely operator error. Turn off

it and hopefully i will get smarter with use.

Not sure if this will work type directly into TBN
Cool, there is a transfer button and when I hit the transfer it goes directly into the area place where the cursor is
I can see that I still must be talking with a slight list because some of my essays don't come out right. To funny. There could be some real bloopers with this. I wonder if this software knows what a smiley face is. I can see using this software or writing a book, let's say, or perhaps for an older person or someone disabled with arthritis or something that makes it hard to type. Since I always check my spelling, I can see that there is a lot of checking the done here but sometimes it comes out perfectly.I'm curious see how it deals with slime for example,. Again, to funny; though word is slang not slime. Hey cause what's happening? Or perhaps if it knows the names of tractors? John Deere, Kubota, new Holland, international Harvester, three bottom class, okay how did allow become class? Farm wow. This is getting funnier. Wow PLO W.

Talking slowly with Dragon usually causes errors rather than avoiding them.

If I were only a one fingered typist, I wouldn't bother either.

But I can actually type accurately at 60 to 80 words per minute; which in some ways makes me wonder if that's one of the reasons my wrist wore out.

Drew that happens when cutting/pasting from word processors. IIRC it is a font issue and changeing the default font may help with that. Also happens when cutting/pasting from web browsers.

ASCII vs Unicode...
From a post in another thread on the subject:

The "remove formatting" doesn't fix this issue (at least not in the enhanced editor, it may in the WSYSIG/Rich Text editor). This is caused by angled quotes ( ). They are a problem because TBN uses ASCII and ASCII only has straight quotes while the angled quotes are Unicode

Thanks guys, what was weird is that it was correct the first time. I can understand if the first pass was corrupted but how could it be correct and then corrupt itself?
