i have a john deere 2305 would like to know if i can replace the drawbar with a hydraulic one. i rember reading some were about how to do this but lost the websit. does any one know if i can do this to my tractor.
I think you mean top link? The drawbar is used to pull wagons and such from very low under the transmission. Your 2305 does not have one, it has just the hole in the back.
You can add a HTL (hydraulic top link) to your machine, but you will need a valve to control it also, and for that you will need the Power Beyond option...
Most of the parts can come from the Surplus Center. To add a cylinders, valve, PB kit, hoses, fittings...you are looking at spending $600 easy. Do a search on these terms for some great info to get you started, this is not a "bolt on kit" for your machine, you will have to do some fabrication and design yourself.
