Drawing & Measurements for JD Clutch Adjustment Tool - JDG-52

I recently had to split my JD 1050 tractor to replace some seals in the transmission & PTO shafts.

Although I ended up not replacing my clutch (it measured out okay)... I did buy the special tool (JDG-52) to adjust the clutch fingers for $99 (ouch)!

I've seen a few posts asking for the dimensions of the tool --- so, here you go.

Maybe you can make one out of steel or some other material in case you need to adjust your clutch.

Not sure what other tractor models (John Deere, maybe Yanmar?) that this tool will work for...

I could be wrong. but I believe the 950 may be the same.

Thanks for posting these measurements for the JDG-52. I have my JD 850 split and replacing the dual stage clutch in it and this is the tool for adjusting the clutch fingers in it. Much appreciated!

Than you! This is perfect for many of the Yanmar machines, especially the YM2500 models and higher.

Thanks for posting the measurements of the JDG-52. I'm working on the clutch of my YM330 and will be making this adjusting gauge soon.

Over the weekend, I transferred the measurements to a 1/8" section of Plastic/Aluminum composite material. Using a jigsaw, I cut out the larger area. I then performed more precise cuts using a bandsaw.

It worked out well.
