Yes it was a real Superbird. Corporation Blue (also known as Petty Blue), 24K on the odometer, 440 4-bbl. Had the original window sticker too. I bought the car from someone who had bought it from the original owner. Unfortunatly that guy left it outside and the front nosecone rotted away underneath. I had the original nosecone (worthless), and a replacement that had some surface rust on it. The car had sat since 1974 (I think I got it around 1985). It still had the '74 NJ inspection sticker, and the 74 registration card in the glovebox. Sold it in 1990 to pay for a GMC 1500 pickup. You can tell it's real by the sloped rear window.

Here's another pic.

Oh, not sure if you were talking about the 72 RoadRunner or the Superbird. Anyway, they both were real RM23 cars with original engines. I want to eventually get another old Mopar (as I no longer have either one of those/w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif), but I'll have to wait to hit the lottery first.

An Olds 4-4-2. A 67 convertible would be nice or maybe a 69 W-30 or W31?

If you like Healeys check out http://blackwolfprod.com/tahoe2002/
for pictures of an international meet at Lake Tahoe last week
with over 500 Healeys attending. I have a 67 3000 that is
down right now for some resto work and a Bugeye for autocross.

Steve, Here is a photo of my 59' 100-6 two seater. This was my first car, got it when I was 15. I'm so glad I never sold it! Can't believe the prices that they bring now! better than money in the bank./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Here is the car that I didn't pass on. In fact its sitting in the wharehouse right now. Only comes out for 50 miles or so, every other year. Thats right, Its my 1969 RS/SS Z28, with the DZ 302, 4 wheel disk brakes, and gauge pkg.
The real kicker about this car, is that I only payed $1200 for it in 1977, with 12,000 miles on it. The guy I bought it from still had the original firestone tires and rallye rims sitting in his garage. And if that isn't enough salt rubbed into old wounds. As it sits today, it only has 16,427 original miles on her.
