Hey, that's a really nice rig.
My MF is a 1964 MF135 diesel deluxe with multipower. I'd pull my drill with it except I haven't added rear hydraulic remotes to the 135 yet. That job is on the to-do list.
Thanks! Forgive the rough seed bed in that picture...it was my first year planting. I've gotten a lot better at the seed bed preparation, and having a harrow drag to pull with the disc on the last pass really helps smooth out the soil.
Those MF 135's are nice tractors! My other MF is an 86' MF250 - 3 cylinder perkins diesel as well. About the same size, but a tad bit heavier.
I don't have any type of press wheel or drag chains on my drill, but that field still yielded about 45 bpa the next summer. That drill does a pretty good job covering the seed by itself when pulled at about 5 mph.
Grandpa did something odd with the 3 pt hookup on that drill. Its bent to be offset so that you put the left side tractor tires in the same mark left by the right side wheels of the drill and everything lines up perfect on your next pass. It also is set up so that when you raise the 3 pt it pulls the discs up. Its a weird fabbed setup....I'll have to take pictures and show you.
