Drive Belt Screded after replacing pulleys on 325

recently replaced all drive pulleys to correct some pulley squeal. Didnt replace the drive belt as it was 3 yrs old and looked great...

all appeared good .

after 5 hrs the belts smoked and screded. could it be the transaxle? 600 Hrs

thoughts..

I had recent belt issues resulting in shredding. My belts were not lined up. Also if a belt slips and makes heat, it will fail.
