Cowher36,
Yes, I would recommend the Frontier/Woods Box Blade. No special connections needed. Do you have the I-Match quick disconnect? As stated earlier, some implements are not compatible. The Frontier brand sold at JD will hook right up. I am very happy with this combo, even though it was a little more than some of the other brands.

I hope this cleared everything up for you! If not, please don't be afraid to ask again. We all seem to like giving our opinions, that is what makes this forum so great!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Dave,
Thanks, I am now clear on what you are talking about. I have not been on a "real" tractor before and did not know better.
I am looking behind quite a bit when using. Instead of moving lever slow to raise it, I move it real fast back then forward. Yes, sometimes it does go up fast!! I wish the valve that controls speed down would also control up also!!

Steve, yeah that would be nice but we cant complain for what a 2210 costs /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif You just get a number of pre sets so your not doing what you mentioned. If you are on fairly level ground you can certainly work with it but if your terrain changes every few feet you can imagine what a pain that is /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif. I'd bet with the box grader weight you have a lot more control due to the weight. If I do the quick flip thin it will fling a the rear blade all the way up to the stop. I guess I got the super charged lift edition...lol. I think most of the woods stuff is iMatch compatable but if thats an issue just ask first. I think the Frontier is a little heavier duty but costs a few more dollars. Dave

Thanks alot guys. Just called my dealer and he has one in stock and say retail is $569 and he will sell it for $480. Seems fairly decent. It is the 4' Frontier. Now I just have to figure out how to use it. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I use a 48" Woods box on my 2210. It's just the right size and makes an excellent counter weight for the FEL (weights about 420 lbs). Attaching it directly to the 3pt (no quick hitch) there are no special connections needed sans the usual 3pt adjustments.
