zipp,

It's a "little" small...

the only camera we had was our cell phones.
That is all the bigger I can resize it and not lose the picture as it just makes it blurry when I enlarge it.

The guys I tip my hat to are the ones who run the mowers along the highways for the State. I have seen them on slopes that I would not touch for any amount of money.

Slowrev, I understand what you are saying about more weight = less traction when in the braking mode in some side slope conditions, but do you think more weight, such as filled tires, would be an advantage when only using the tractors low gears for acceleration and braking on slopes?
Bob

I'm a huge fan of filled tires for stability on slopes. My property is quite hilly and there are several places that I do *not* even dream of going along the side of the slope. Up and down, in many places I only back it up (less likely that the tractor will flip forward), others I dare not go.

I don't have trouble with slippage unless I'm only running 2WD, but this is an area (braking) that my HST helps a lot. I rarely use my brakes - the transmission will stop me, even on the steep slopes.

I mow a ton of 15* side slopes as well as quite a bit of 20*. The 15s aren't to bad, but I don't like the 20s at all. Either degree can get you in trouble if you hit a rock, stump or hole. Anything above 20*, I mow up and down.

Zip I wonder what angle that is on. Looks like it would flip to me.I have nothing that steep on my land so maybe I'm fine with my slopes.
We'll see.

I would never consider a slope just because someone else did it. My tractor might not be set up like theirs. Look how far out he has his wheels set. My Bota won't go that wide.
