My Dad was a farmer of long ago; I remember him using horses and mules to plow. It was later in his life, and when I entered school (early 1960's) that Dad had a tractor. But, he would teach me to "pick a line, pick a point at the end of the row, and keep your eye on that." It is amazing how "straight" I can go even now.

Its amazing how straight you can stay if you put your mind to it. Some of the insect controls we use (merit,talstar,allectus,etc.) cost a fortune! If you dont keep straight lines and correct spacing it can mean the difference between making or losing money on a large account!
