Ralph, try parking your tractor and jacking, then block it up on the opposite side of filler neck so that the cap will slide towards filler neck. Then tap the tank with a piece of wood and hopefully it will slide below filler neck and PRESTO, its right there, I hope /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif. Hope this helps.

Got the 2nd one out this afternoon. Used the TSC kerosene syphon followed by my Brookstone hand pump to get all the diesel out. The bugger was sitting down in the lowest part on the left side of the tank.

Filled it back to the brim with the TSC kerosene siphon. Took almost all the 5 gallons I've bought since new. So, that's 5 gallons in 9.7 hours, about 0.5 gallons/hr.
