Drove L48 today

Have you considered a front-mount hydraulic driven snow blower? The new Kubota L48 has a skid-steer type quick hitch optional and the Loftness company makes a skid steer mounted 60" 2 stage front mount snow blower that requires 15-20 GPM hydraulic flow (the L48 has 25.9 GPM). This may be a solution worth looking into.

I'm sure the L48 is a great unit, it's just too big dimensionally for my uses. My L35 manages to get around where my Ford NH 1710 went, with a heck of a hoe hanging off of it.

There are also a lot of used low hour L35's out there, probably will take awhile for any used L48's to show up.

At the auction last year there were four Case 4x4 extend-a-hoe 580's that went for $18,000 each, I think they were K or L models.

Del, I'm not sure I understood this phrase(s) of yours correctly

Are you saying the L48 and your Ford were slow and therefore needed crossword puzzles to occupy your time or was it the L48 only? Curious because the GPM on the L48(not PSI) is considerably higher but it has larger cylinders to fill and more travel. Dimensionally it is somewhat similar to the L4610, the raise, roll, dump times are about the same, the biggest difference was in the lowering time which was about 2 seconds longer on the L48. Rat...
