Yes, I would get the arms that slide in. I actually like the fast hitch as well, so I don’t want to change that. I know that there is a pin that you have to pull to let it become free floating. I actually hadn’t though about that part yet...

Unfortunately, the closest dealer is about 30 minutes away and they aren’t the easiest to work with. Are there any other ways to see if its been turned up some? I do think it feels like it might have some extra power over what I thought it would.

if its turning 2200 rpm it could be pushing 70 which would be great - I have the 3 point hitch with dual ball sizes cat1/2 and it has the bent arms that go in the 2pt for narrow or wide cat1/2 and the top link has a bracket made to go on the back of the factory portion of the 560 hitch I got it from some place in iowa cant remember the name of it - it wasn't all states ag......

I like the kit, I have on for my 560 and for my 706 they were around 450 bucks I think u can get the straight arm ones that have cat 2 balls on them a lot less

I wouldn't worry to much about it if its marginal you will find a way to work with it - usually just grab another gear - and yes my 560 p/s works great I only have one tractor w/out p/s now days and its currently in pieces

if you get a 706 get the german diesel - the 806 is a no brainer, cant go wrong there just don't get a gasser!!! they will suck your pockets dry

Thanks for all the advice. It’s good to hear this from someone else. I felt like I could handle one but I feel better about it now. Hopefully I can find a good deal on one at an auction or something.

We still use our 560 that my Dad got new, it's sure not the "big" tractor like it was when it took over from the 400 for the heavy work.
Pulled a 4 - 16 inch bottom fast hitch plow with her. I still remember chopping corn with it and a one row case chopper and a big 2 beater Allis -Chalmers self unloading wagon, she would be talking pulling some of the hills.

For some reason, I forgot to read your post the other day. Thanks for all the input. It痴 good to hear from someone that has used a similar machine to what I知 looking at. I feel the same about how they rate the hp needed. I figure most of it has to do with the weight of everything and if needed, I could just put a few weights on the front and maybe even on the left wheel if needed.
