Greetings all,
So my first post was under "implements" but I thought I'd say "Hi!" here, too!
I guess you'd call mine a hobby farm, but I'm only getting started. With the world situation these days, I felt I had better get growing some veggies on a scale larger than our garden.
I'm situated about 1/2 way between Winnipeg, Mb. and Thunder Bay, On. Our growing season here is barely 90 days, so crop selection is a bit of a trial. Tubers do quite well but not things like head lettuce, peppers, tomatoes, etc. unless you are greenhousing.
Anyway, have a great day everyone! This looks like it will be a very interesting and informative forum.
I've attached some pics - the nice looking MH model 20 is what mine is supposed to look like.
