Yes, I did use a grader blade so you can safely continue to hate box blades, but I really only picked the grader because I wanted to move the material sideways and an angled grader is good at that.

I've got a mushy swampy area too that I really want to brush hog but because of your experiences I've been staying away. I'd feel OK venturing in with the logging winch attached so I can pull myself out, but then I can't use my 3PH mower which is the whole purpose anyway. I guess I'll be going in circles on this until I outfit the front of my tractor with a second 3PH as you described.
